Pi Day Combination Safe Kit

$89.99

Jason Allemann is the LEGO Master Builder that I chose to showcase this year -- his designs and builds are intricate and amazing, while still being "buildable" by the novice LEGO enthusiast. For Pi Day, March 14, we celebrated a little bit of math with our After School Builders by building a working combination lock safe. Can you guess what the combination will be?

The ingenious aspect to this safe is the manner in which Jason developed the supporting frame that encases the safe itself. Without the correct combination there is no way to open the safe (without resorting to actually cutting a couple of technic bricks). My advice — practice, practice, practice unlocking the safe before you get it in the frame. And rest assured that whatever you choose to “lock away” will be safe and secure!
