We don’t keep kits in inventory, waiting to be ordered while part prices fluctuate on a regular basis. To keep our prices competitive, we order parts as our kits are ordered, continuing to shop for the best pricing, and because of that, we’re able to donate 10% of all profits right back into the after-school programs we support!
TIMING
When you place an order, you’ll get a note from us letting you know about the current inventory and status of your kit. When all parts have arrived (typically 2 to 4 weeks), been packaged and shipped, you’ll get another email with your tracking information. The rest is just plain fun!
Per Part Pricing
On average, the LEGO Group sets their kit pricing so that each part costs about 13¢ — this is possible because not only do they manufacture the parts, but they produce them in such quantities that their costs average out over the breadth of their massive inventory.
We price Happyakrz kits about one nickel higher (approximately 18¢/part) to cover our research, resourcing, and packing time and expenses. We’re more interested in getting these kits into your hands, so even though they’re custom kits, we do our best to keep our pricing reasonable!
